Zydus Pharma on Saturday announced that its US arm Nesher Pharmaceuticals has received final approval from the USFDA to market to market Omega-3-Acid Ethyl Esters Capsules USP (USRLD – Lovaza Capsules).
The company in its statement said that “A type of fat found in the fish oil, Omega-3-acid ethyl esters are used along with the diet and exercise to help lower levels of certain blood fat (triglyceride), and this capsules can also increase the good cholesterol (HDL) levels.

Zydus also said that “The drug will be manufactured by Nesher Pharmaceutical at the manufacturing unit located at St. Louis, Missouri, US.”
