Top Uber Executives Warned After Probe into Office Misconduct

As per a report by Wall Street Journal, Cameron Poetzscher, Uber‘s head of corporate development, had been found making sexually aggressive comments on other co-workers. The WSJ also insinuated towards other such instances in the organization.

When the findings of the probe by an outside law firm were presented in front of the management, some members demanded the immediate removal of Poetzscher.

However, this never was actualized. Poetzscher was given a formal warning, his annual bonuses were reduced and alongside that, a proper therapy was mandated encircling sensitivity coaching, according to the report.

“We take all employee complaints seriously, as we did in this matter from 2017. It was fully investigated by outside counsel, and the appropriate actions were taken as a result,” an Uber spokesman said in a statement.
