The Government of India on Wednesday said that “It has approved a Rs 4,558 crore scheme to promote the dairy sector, that will benefit over 95 lakh farmers.”
While speaking with the press, Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting said, “The cabinet has decided to approve Rs 4,558 scheme that will take the ‘Which revolution,’ to the next level.”
“The cabinet has also decided to raise the benefit under the interest subvention scheme from 2 percent to 2.5 percent. Which is aimed to benefit the farming community,” the minister said.
