Online cab aggregator company and one of Uber’s biggest rival in India, Ola Cabs has announced the expansion of its Ola Bike offering to 150 cities across the country.
In a statement issued on 12th Sept, the company, said, “The offering of Ola Bike services in 150 cities across the country, will increase its position as India’s largest player in the micro-mobility space.”
Further adding to the statement, Ola, said that: “The Ola Bike services will allow the company to make inroads into the hinterlands of India, by enabling hundreds of millions of Indians to have access to affordable, reliable, and convenient on-demand transportation.”
Speaking on the expansion of Ola Bike offering, Arun Srinivas, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Ola, said: “Ola Bike offers a smart innovative, and affordable mobility solutions to the consumers. and this is an offering that truly reflects our mission to build mobility for billion people.”
“The Ola Bike services has enabled the citizens from the smallest towns like Chapra in Bihar to the Metropolitan areas like Gurgaon with access to quick, reliable, and affordable mobility,” he added.
Adding more on the expansion, Srinivas said, “Ola Bike has built the sustainable livelihoods for our fastest-growing network of 300,000 partners from within the ecosystems of cities and towns.”
