Coronavirus update: Drugs to treat virus may be available by Summer, says Mike Pence

Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence on Monday said, “The vaccines to treat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), could be available by this summer or fall.”

While briefing to the reporters on Monday, Mike Pence, said, “We have recorded 43 domestic cases of Coronavirus, and 48 among individuals who have returned to the United States. Out of 43, 29 are in California and Washington State, where there could potentially be a cluster in those communities.”

“The risk of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) remains low in the US despite all the aspects,” he added.

Further adding to the availability of the vaccine, Pence told the press, “The vaccines are likely to be available to the public by the end of this year or early next. But the therapeutics to give relief to the people who engage with coronavirus could be available by the summer or early next.”
