Briefing the media on Tuesday, Zhao Lijian, spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said, “Chinese government always asks Chinese business to abide by international and local law-regulations.”
“The Indian government has a responsibility to uphold the legal rights of international investors including Chinese,” Zhao said.
The statement from China has come after the Government of India announced the ban on 59 Chinese apps including short video sharing platform Tik Tok, UC News, ShareIt, and others.
