Mitsubishi Electric India’s Rajeev Sharma Calls for Budgetary Framework to Drive Economic Growth in Union Budget 2023-24

As the Indian economy continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, the manufacturing sector is poised for solid growth in the coming year. Rajeev Sharma, Chief Strategy Officer of Mitsubishi Electric India, has expressed his expectations for the upcoming union budget 2023-24 to provide the necessary policy and budgetary framework to ensure economic growth of the country.

Speaking about his expectations from the forthcoming Budget 2023, Rajeev Sharma, CSO of Mitsubishi Electric India said, “We are looking forward to encouraging infrastructure development and bringing technological innovation through our products and solutions for the Indian market. I hope that Budget 2023 lays out a path toward India’s growth story, especially in the infrastructure and technology sectors.”

“I believe that the Indian government will prioritize policies that will benefit the infrastructure and manufacturing sectors and promote renewable energy, allowing the country to reach its potential on a global scale,” he added.

Further, stressing the importance of encouraging manufacturing investments among technology providers and promoting the development of new-age manufacturing skills, Sharma said, “I believe that this will be a game-changer for further skill development and will lead to self-reliant solutions in the country.”
