Delhi based sports tech startup, Hudle has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-Series A round funding.
Led by Survam Partners, the family office of Suman Kant the new round funding also saw the participation of multiple angel investors including the founder of The Sherpas, Amandeep.
Founded in 2016, Hudle uses enables players to discover & book sports activities on their B2C platform while helping sports facility owners streamline their operations through their B2B partner solutions. It has partnered with over 350 sports venues across Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Kerala, and other parts of India with more than 50,000 players using it to plan games.
Speaking on the fundraise, Suhail Narain, Founder & CEO, Hudle, said, “We believe playing a sport is the most fun way of staying fit and that everyone should have access to sports irrespective of age, gender or skill. We have been working for the past 4 years to make recreational sports more accessible and having Survam Partners backing us is very encouraging.”
“Private sports infrastructure is growing rapidly in India and we plan to use the funds to make sports activities more accessible to people in our current markets and beyond”, added Narain.
In October this year, Hudle signed Indian test cricket vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane as its brand ambassador.
