American technology giant Apple Inc has announced the acquisition of San Francisco-based startup Fleetsmith for an undisclosed amount.

Giving an update on the acquisition, Fleetsmith in its official blog post said, “We’re thrilled to join Apple. Our shared value of putting the customer at the center of everything we do without sacrificing privacy and security means we can truly meet our mission, delivering Fleetsmith to businesses and institutions of all sizes around the world.”
Founded by Jesse Endahl, Ken Kouot, Stevie Hryciw, and Zack Blum, Fleetsmith provides management and security of IT with the experience users love about Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
