Jennifer Newstead, Chief Legal Officer at Meta Platforms, sold 519 shares of the company’s Class A common stock on July 8, according to a Form 4 filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The shares were sold at a price of $721.57 each, resulting in proceeds of approximately $374,597. After the transaction, Newstead held 27,107 shares in the company.
The sale was conducted under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on February 11. Such plans allow company insiders to sell stock according to prearranged instructions that meet regulatory requirements.
The filing was submitted on July 10 and signed on Newstead’s behalf by a designated attorney-in-fact.
