Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ. GOOGL) CEO Sundar Pichai sold 32,500 shares of the company’s Class C stock on June 4, according to a filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The transactions generated approximately $5.48 million. Pichai sold 19,550 shares at a weighted average price of $168.42 per share, followed by 12,950 shares at an average price of $169.16.
Pichai carried out the sales under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan, which he adopted in December 2024. Such plans allow executives to schedule trades in advance and are intended to comply with insider trading regulations.
Following the sale, he continues to hold 2.58 million shares of Alphabet’s Class C stock, 227,560 shares of Class A common stock, and 224,169 Google Stock Units (GSUs). The GSUs vest quarterly through 2026, subject to continued employment.
