A Singapore based student housing startup, OxfordCaps has announced that it has secured $8 million in series A round funding from Times Internet and others.
The India-based Times Internet led the new round funding in the participation of its existing investors like Kalaari Capital and 500 Startups.
OxfordCaps in its statement said that “The company will use the new round funding in business expansion in 10 cities of India.”
The company also said that “It is heavily investing in the technology focusing on IoT and deep machine learning to improve the students experience.”
Founded in 2017, OxfordCaps provides custom designed and standardized accommodation to students in Singapore and India with full-stack services and amenities on its platform where the students can search and book accommodation units or connect with the landlords or make payments or place the new service request.
