India: The Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 which was launched on July 14 made a successful landing on the Moon’s surface on August 23, 2023.
Following to USSR, the U.S., and China, India now joins this elite group as the fourth country to achieve a soft lunar landing.
