India’s leading automaker Maruti Suzuki has decided to increase the prices of its vehicles from January 2020.
In a filing at the NSE, the company said that “Over the past year, the cost of a company’s vehicles has been impacted heavily due to an increase in various input costs.”
“It has become imperative for the company to pass on some impact of the high additional cost to customers through a price hike across several models from January 2020,” the company added.
