India’s largest automaker giant Ashok Leyland has reported a decline of 22 percent in total commercial vehicle sales at 10,175 units in November.
In a statement issued by Ashok Leyland on Monday, the company said, “the company has reported a total commercial vehicle sales at 10,175 units in November, as compare to 13,119 units the company sold in the same month last year.”
“The domestic commercial vehicle sales has also gone down to 25 percent were the company sold 9,377 units as compare to 12,570 units for the same month last year,” the statement added.
Further adding to the statement, the company also reported, “36 percent down in Medium and heavy commercial sales in the domestic market were it sold 5,321 units as compared to 8,260 units in November last year. and 6 percent down in light commercial vehicle sales at 4,056 units against 4,310 units in the same month last year.”
