In an effort to secure the citizen from the global outbreak of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday declared COVID-19 as the National State of Disaster.
The President in its statement said, “To manage the disease and to protect the people of the country and to reduce the effect of the virus on the society and the economy, we have now declared the COVID-19 as the National State of Disaster.”
