The European football club, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on Sunday said, “Lionel Messi has tested positive for COVID-19.”
Speaking at the press conference, the PSG Coach said, “The four team members including three players and one staff member have tested positive for COVID-19 and they have self-isolated themselves.”
PSG in its tweet said, “Tests carried out during the winter break and before the resumption of training revealed 4 positive cases for Covid-19 among the players and 1 positive case among the staff. The people concerned are subject to the Covid protocols.”
The other players to test positive were Juan Bernat, goalkeeper Sergio Rico, and Nathan Bitumazala.
