Coronavirus update: Indian Railways puts regular train service on hold till August 12

The Indian Railways on Thursday said, “It has decided to cancel regular train services till August 12, 2020.”

In a statement issued, Railways said, “The railways have decided to cancel regular time-tabled passenger services, including mail, express, passenger and suburban services up to August 12.”

“It has decided that all tickets booked from 1 July to 12 August will be canceled and a full refund will be issued,” the statement added.

Adding to the statement, Railways further said, “Special Rajdhani trains and other services started from May 12 and June 1 will continue as per schedule.”
