The National Health Commission (NHC) on Wednesday said, “The death toll due to the novel coronavirus in mainland China has increased to 1,367 on Wednesday from 254 a day ago.”

In a statement released by the NHC, it said: “It has registered 15,152 new confirmed infection cases that draw to 59,804 total confirmed cases in the country.”
“The increase in number has come after the authorities in Hubei introduced new quicker diagnostic method using computerized tomography (CT) scans, that has diagnosed 13,332 new infections,” NHC said.
Till February 11, NHC recorded 44,653 confirmed cases and 1,113 deaths.
