Japanese automaker giant, Mazda Motors on Tuesday has announced that by 2030 all the vehicles produces by the company will be electrified while 5 percent of its car will be of all-battery electric vehicles (EVs).

In an press released issued by Mazda, the company said “By 2030, Mazda expects that internal combustion engines combined with some form of electrification will account for 95 percent of the vehicles it produces and battery electric vehicles will account for 5 percent.”
Mazda has said it plans to market an EV with all batteries by 2020. On Tuesday it said it would develop two battery EVs, one that will be battery-only and one that will pair a battery with a range extender powered by the automaker’s rotary engine.
