The British multinational automaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has said, that “It has started the booking of the new Land Rover Defender in India.”
“Valued at Rs 69.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Land Rover Defender comes with 300 PS petrol powertrain in two distinct body styles – 3 door version (90) and 5 door trim (110) in the completely built unit,” the company in its statement said.
“The new Defender will be offered in five different variants across 90 and 100 trims; Base, S, SE, HSE, and First Edition,” it added.
“The Defender comes with 360-degree surround camera, wide sensing, electronic air suspension (standard on 110), smartphone pack, connected navigation, off-road tyres, a center console with a refrigerated compartment (optional) and more,” the statement said.
Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India, said, “The new Defender embraces its rich lineage in a modern, 21st-century package that makes it extremely capable, on and off-road.”
“The model is customizable with a multitude of seating options, accessory packs, and features to choose from,” the company added.
