One of India, largest technology major Tech Mahindra has announced that “The company has agreed to acquire 100 percent stake of K-Vision a Japan-based network services providing company for mobile communications carriers.”
In a filing at BSE on Friday, the company said that “The investment committee of the board of directors of the company has approved the proposal to acquire 100 percent shares of K-Vision Co, a Japanese based company through Mahindra Engineering Services (Europe) a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.”
“The acquisition deal valued at $1.5 million, and it is expected to close the deal by the end of March 2019,” the statement added.
Adding to the statement the company said that “The acquisition of K-Vision Co will help Tech Mahindra to build its presence in Japan by providing the support to the company to build and support its 4G and 5G network in Japan for large telecom players.”
