In a bid to provide accurate information to the general public, shareholders, and others during the Annual General Meeting (AGM), Reliance Industries on Monday announced the launch of its WhatsApp Chatbot to offer immediate information about the company’s AGM.
Designed and developed by Jio Haptik, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries – Chatbot is expected to act as the 24×7 help desk to answer all queries related to the 43rd AGM meeting, which is scheduled to take place on 15 July virtually.
Speaking on the development, the company said, “The use of the chatbot is to assist investors for an AGM is ‘unprecedented’ and reinforces RIL’s commitment to digitally empower businesses and individuals through simple, smart and secure technology-enabled solutions.”
“To ask the question one needs to send a ‘Hi’ message from their WhatsApp number to 797-711-1111,” it added.
Adding the statement, Reliance Industries said, “The chatbot is designed to provide information related to RIL AGM in an easy-to-use conversational manner for ‘a speedy and effortless resolution’ to the queries of the shareholders.”
