Congress leader and Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Central Government on three farm laws that sparked a nationwide protest by the farmers union.
Addressing the tractor rally on Monday, Rahul Gandhi said, “The entire world can see the difficulties faced by farmers. We have pop stars commenting on the farmers‘ issue because the Modi Government in Delhi is unable to understand the pain.”
Alleging that the three laws are designed to destroy the agricultural system in India and give it to PM Modi’s two to three friends. He said, “Agriculture is the biggest business in the country worth Rs 40 lakh crore and it is owned by millions and millions of Indians.”
“Agriculture is the only business that belongs to Bharat Mata and few people want to own the business,” he said.
