Automaker Hyundai Motor India has reported an increase of 24.6 percent in its total February sale to 61,800 units.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) in its regulatory filing said, “The company has reported a 24.6 percent increase in the total sale at 61,800 units in February as against 48,910 units in the same month last year.”
“The domestic sale has increased by 29 percent to 51,600 units compared to 40,010 units in February 2020,” the filing said.
“The export has increased by 14.6 percent to 10,200 units in February as against 8,900 units for the same month last year,” the company said.
Speaking on the development, Tarun Garg, Director for Sales, Marketing & Services at HMIL said, “The company has been consistently striving to drive a resurgence in sales, thereby contributing towards economic recovery and bring the industry closer to pre-COVID-19 level sales with a cumulative sale if 61,800 units in February 2021, Hyundai has recovered growth across the segment.”
“Both domestic and export demand have recorded healthy double-digit growth last month, reflecting an all-round improvement in buyer sentiment,” Tarun added.
