India’s leading fintech startup Zaggle has announced the appointment of Siva Kumar as the company’s new chief technology officer.
The company in its statement said, “Siva Kumar will resume the Hyderabad office and will report to Raj N. Phani, founder of Zaggle.”
Siva Kumar, who has over 23+ years of experience in engineering, management and software development and previously worked with companies like People Combine Group, Quark, Goibibo, and PayU, will be leading Zaggle’s technology team.
Speaking on the appointment of Siva Kumar, Raj N. Phani, Founder of Zaggle said, “We are certain that Siva Kumar with his diverse knowledge and expertise would benefit the organization and will not only add to the growth of the company but would bring in newer technological innovation at a product level. Given the current scenario and growth in the digital payments space, his appointment comes at the right time and we are confident that he would prove to be a great asset as he builds a strong momentum in the working of the organization.”
Whereas, Siva Kumar said, “I have worked with startups previously and each has a different experience. I am excited to take on this new responsibility as CTO and look forward to the challenges and opportunities Zaggle has to offer. Moreover, the company has an experienced senior management team and I’m excited to work closely with them.”
Adding to the statement, Avinash Godkhindi, MD and CEO, Zaggle said, “He is experienced in highly scalable and distributed across architecture, analysis, design, development and managing software projects predominantly in the internet and mobile technologies.
