Govt: Private Hospitals can charge up to Rs 250 per COVID-19 dose

The Ministry of Health on Saturday said, “The private hospital can charge up to Rs 250 per dose for COVID-19 vaccine.”

The Ministry on Twitter said, “The state can use around 10,000 hospitals under Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY and 687 hospitals under CGHS as COVID-19 vaccination centers (CVCs).”

“Private Hospitals functioning as CVCs may recover a charge subject to a ceiling of Rs 250 per person per dose,” the Ministry tweeted.
