China has reportedly imposed sanctions on two American defense companies, and their executives for being involved in arms sales to Taiwan.
Briefing the press on the development, the spokesperson of the Chinese Govt. said, “China firmly opposes and strongly condemns it to safeguard China’s sovereignty and security interests. The govt. has decided to sanction who are involved in this sale of weapons.”

“The Govt has imposed sanctions on Chairman & CEO of Raytheon Technologies’ Gregory Hayes and Boeing Defense President and CEO Ted Colbert,” the spokesperson added.
