Flipkart Enters Insurance Sector, Partners with Bajaj Allianz

In order to enter the insurance sector – a global $27 billion industry – the e-commerce giant, Flipkart has collaborated with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. This partnership will enable the firm to provide customized insurance solutions to enhance its phone protection programme offered with all the leading mobile phone sold on the platform.

Furthermore, Flipkart is going to offer both cash payments or free pick up options alongside service and drop convenience for customers. This all new offering will kick off from 10th October with the beginning of Flipkart’s Big Billion Day.
