Coronavirus Update: American scientist develops an interactive online map to track real-time updates on Coronavirus

The American scientist on Monday said that “They have designed the interactive online map that tracks the real-time updates on the novel Coronavirus.”

The map was designed by a geographer Bo Zhao with his colleague Fengyu Xu, Lola Kang, Joshua Ji, and Steven Bao at the University of Washington, “Allows the users to track global as well as the local updates on death tolls, quarantined areas, and countries affected by the novel Coronavirus.”

Speaking on how the map works, it mentioned, “The data is mainly sourced from the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The World Health Organisation (WHO), National Health Commission (NHC) of Republic of China, and from other Chinese and government agencies.”

“And it is updated every four hours after collecting the country-level data from WHO,” it added.
